Froy Alvarez passed away suddenly on Friday, October 30, 2009, at the age of 51.
Froy was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a teacher and educator for 20 years in Monterey and Fresno counties.
He is survived by his mother, Maria Luisa; his brother Louis and his wife Cheryl; sister, Theresa and her husband Eddie Aguallo; niece Laura; and nephews, Eddie, Alex, Chris, Zach and Jacob.
Visitation will be held at the Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, November 5, 2009, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church.
